Asvara Villa Ubud by Ini Vie Hospitality

The ambience is wonderful, you will be spoiled for choice on where to take pictures from. The breakfast, staff, and property cleanliness was beyond expectation. The property offered early check-in and late checkout and arranged taxi pickup to any location we needed to go to. The private pool has three convenient ways to jump into from the house, namely from the living room to the Jacuzzi, then into the pool, from the bed to the pool or from the outdoor shower into the pool. Then they have Mr. Dwi, their star staff who will wow you at the reception, will meet you when you go for breakfast and will also drive you around whenever you need a ride.

From start to finish, this resort did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and very well-kept and the staff went out of their way from the moment we arrived. My only small complaint (and not a reflection of this property or staff) was that the location falls within a no-go zone for the Grab (and other) taxi services. You’d still be able to catch a ride about 1 block away if you simply walk outside of the no-go area but for this reason it can be hard to hail a cab on outbound trips. There were no issues whatsoever with return trips via cab-service to the front entrance of the resort as drop-offs are unaffected by the zone limitations. We hope to come back soon!

Staying at Asvara has been nothing short of a great and wonderful experience. From the very start, every single member of staff greeted us with genuine pleasantness at every interaction. The villa was beautifully presented and a dream to stay in. The daily breakfast provided ample selection with a variety of food to suit all tastes. The location was excellent, providing the option of a nice walk to Ubud centre (about 3-4km) along the Campuhan Ridge Walk, passing a number of places for food and drinks. We hired a scooter from Asvara and were provided with recommendations for some local sights which did not disappoint.

Villa is very nice, just like on pictures. The shower is actually outside, and aproachable from pool and toilet. Inside the complex there is food service but also, in front of the reception there is a restaurant that has breakfast service whole day. One of the few walking paths starts just in front of the villas and leads downhill to centre of Ubud, I highly recommend to take it and walk through rice fields, jungle and along spas and restaurants.
